Pioneer Valley Dental Arts incorporates the most modern dental technology in their Longmeadow dentist office to allow for more precise dental care with less discomfort and fewer patient visits. Much of today’s dental technology is less invasive and highly effective in the diagnosis and treatment of a range of dental health concerns. CEREC technology has revolutionized the process of fitting crowns, veneers and other types of dental restorations. Through the use of advanced dental technology such as CEREC and with a skilled and dedicated staff, Drs. Mark Evans and Derrick Ziemba provide quality cosmetic and restorative dental care to their patients, yielding beautiful results and convenience to our patients.
CEREC uses CAD/CAM technology to take digital images of your teeth, gums and bone structure. Drs. Ziemba and Evans glide a simple camera over your teeth to create a 3-D color model of your mouth. CEREC technology provides a model of your teeth with a high level of precision and accuracy. By creating a realistic model of your teeth our team is able to make the best fitting and a natural looking dental restoration, specified to your individual dental concerns.
CEREC: What Are the Benefits?
The CEREC process is quick and relatively painless. CEREC replaces the need and use of gooey traditional mold trays that many people with sensitive gag reflexes struggle with. There is minimal to no pain associated with the CEREC process. Patients with dental anxiety can find CEREC to be minimally invasive and even stress free. Dr. Ziemba and Dr. Evan’s will discuss the process at length with each patient, making sure you are at ease and ensure you are receiving the right dental treatment plan for your dental health concerns.
CEREC makes your dental restoration a simple trip to our Longmeadow dentist office, instead of a month long waiting game. Your high quality ceramic fabrications will be complete in just one visit to Pioneer Valley Dental Health. The high resolution images created by the CEREC technology will be input into the CEREC milling machine that will mold your dental crown or bridge. Drs. Ziemba and Evans will then do a final fitting, and any required minor adjustments, before permanently securing your restoration into place. You will be able to leave our office within a few hours with a brand new, healthy, beautiful smile.
